The Houseperson's responsibilities include maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of guest rooms, hallways, furnishings, floors, and workspaces. This involves tasks such as changing bed linens, emptying trash, vacuuming carpets, and dusting furniture. They are also responsible for replenishing guest supplies like soap and shampoo, organizing staff closets, and cleaning common areas, stairwells, elevators, and landings. Additionally, they may assist with snow clearance, guest transportation, luggage handling, and ensuring the privacy and security of guest rooms. The Houseperson is expected to complete any reasonable tasks assigned by their manager or supervisor.
To oversee the cleanliness and appearance of both front and back of house areas, including all exterior public spaces, as directed by supervisors. Complete tasks in line with set standards. Responsible for housekeeping tasks such as stripping and resetting rooms to the standard when necessary. Address any after-hours limited work orders and refer those beyond the scope to the Maintenance Staff. Perform any additional duties as assigned or needed.
